Long-term coherence in generation
Mirella Lapata is professor in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. She is affiliated with the Institute for Communicating and Collaborative Systems and the Human Communication Research Centre.
Her research focuses on probabilistic learning techniques for natural language understanding and generation. She is interested in the general problem of extracting semantic information from large volumes of text.
